Why should I aim to raise £550?

Why should I aim to raise £550?

Find out why smashing this goal can help us make a real difference!

It really is true - hair donations and fundraising go hand in hand!

What do we mean by this? Well, without each and every penny that you raise, we simply would not be able to run our wonderful wig provision service or fund pioneering research into finding better and kinder childhood cancer treatments.

This is why, when it comes to showing your support, the act of fundraising is just as important as braving the big chop to help to make a real difference and a change in someone’s life.

Why is £550 the magic number?

The pennies you raise are the reason that we can continue to do what we do as a charity. But, you may be asking, why is £550 the target you should aim for?

Hitting your fundraising target can seem like a daunting task, but your funds will help us to cover each and every step of the wig making process.

From creating the wig itself, to the individual styling and fitting stages for each recipient, this all adds up to an overall cost of £550!

This means that setting yourself the £550 target, and aiming to smash that goal, ensures that we can provide one real-hair wig, completely free of charge, to a child or young person. How incredible is that?

Ordering a free fundraising pack from The Little Princess Trust is the perfect way to start your support.

How can I reach this target?

From a brilliant bake sale to a stupendous skydive, the way that you choose to fundraise is completely up to you!

To make our target seem more achievable, why not break it down into smaller amounts? For example, aim to raise £150 in the first month of your fundraising journey, and once you reach that, aim for £300 - before you know it, you'll have smashed £550, just like that!

You could also recruit the help of family and friends to help you reach your goal, not only making this target more achievable, but also making fantastic fundraising even more exciting.
