How Wahl has helped The Little Princess Trust

Shining a light on one of our brilliant corporate supporters
We are incredibly fortunate to be helped by some wonderful companies who support our mission to give Hair and Hope to children with cancer. This help comes in many forms and, as we continue to mark our 20th anniversary, we would like to shine a light on the many acts of kindness from the people at Wahl.
As a global leader within the world of hair accessories, Wahl’s support for The Little Princess Trust has come in many ways.
We know, for example, that being associated with such a well-respected global company has helped to raise our profile and ensured more young people know about our free wig service.
A great example of Wahl opening doors for us has been when the company has kindly invited The Little Princess Trust to share the stage at industry events that Wahl has sponsored.
Having previously given presentations to many hair professionals at Salon International, this year we were able to talk about our wigs and the need for hair donations at Barber Connect.
Wahl was the headline sponsor at the two-day event at the NEC in Birmingham and handed over the stage to Phil Brace and Wendy Tarplee-Morris so they could speak to the audience about The Little Princess Trust.
This kind gesture came in the same year that Wahl created a limited-edition hair dryer to mark our 20th anniversary.
The Vanquish was re-imagined in our purple colour, and has our logo on its lightweight body, meaning barbers and stylists can show their support for us while working.
Wahl previously created the LPT cordless hair clipper and we are so pleased to have these accessories branded with our name.
In addition to helping to spread the word of our work, Wahl has also made some generous financial contributions and is donating £20 from the sale of each Vanquish hair dryer to support our mission to give Hair and Hope to so many young people.
This means that Wahl has donated £5,000 to The Little Princess Trust as a result of the Vanquish sales and puts the total amount received from the company at a staggering £12,000.
We know that having such a well-respected business promote our charity means more children will find out about our wigs.
Phil Brace, the Chief Executive of The Little Princess Trust, added: “We’re incredibly grateful to Wahl for their all-round support of The Little Princess Trust.
“We know that having such a well-respected business from the hair industry promote our charity means more children and young people will find out about our wigs and the free service that we can offer them.
“As we mark our 20th anniversary, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Wahl for helping us give Hair and Hope to children with cancer.”
