Brand new assembly pack for schools

1decision have created a fantastic Assembly Pack for schools

This wonderful resource is designed for a school to show what The Little Princess Trust does with supporters' donations to help children and young people.

It also provides children with information on how LPT started, how we support children, and what young people can do to help us continue our work.

Whether you have students that want to donate their hair or you want to highlight a chosen charity, this pack includes videos from The Little Princess Trust Founder, Wendy Tarplee- Morris, CEO Phil Brace and includes a number of questions to engage the students and get them involved.

1decision said: "We are passionate about children’s well-being.

"Over the past few months, to increase our support to our chosen charity, we have worked in partnership with their fabulous team to create an Assembly Pack for schools."

What you can find in the Assembly Pack

• Information pack with teachers' notes on how to present the assembly.
• On-screen assembly.
• Parent/Carer Pack.
• Advice from childhood cancer specialists CCLG.

What are the benefits of schools using this pack?

• To reduce children’s anxiety around the word ‘cancer’.
• Increase children’s understanding of how charities work.
• Provide further information about the research into reducing childhood cancers.

You may also want to highlight a student’s recent donation to The Little Princess Trust and explain their selfless act to help other students. Or create awareness of fundraising ideas across the school.
