Rose receives her LPT wig!
After being diagnosed with alopecia, Rose's school have come together to show their support
This year, Rose has experienced alopecia, causing her to lose her hair and receive a wig from us here at The Little Princess Trust. Since receiving her wig, Rose’s classmates and teachers decided to do something amazing to show their support by hosting a fundraiser at school in support of our mission of giving Hair and Hope.
Classmates and teachers at Bedford Modern School have raised an amazing £4,500 for LPT - an amazing sum that will go on to help us continue to support children and young people experiencing hair loss, just like Rose.
Rose’s schoolmates went above and beyond to help raise these fantastic funds, with bake sales being held at school, students donating their pocket money, and even a pupil generously donating her hair!
Louise, Rose’s mum, told us that Rose and her family are “forever grateful for the amazing service” that LPT was able to provide to Rose during this time.

Everyone at LPT is so grateful for the school’s wonderful support, as it is only with the kindness and generosity of our supporters that we can continue to provide our real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people experiencing hair loss.
After speaking to Bedford Modern Junior School’s head teacher, Mrs Pacyna, she told us: “Throughout Rose’s alopecia diagnosis, she has been a strong and determined young lady. She continued to approach school with positivity and a huge smile on her face, rarely letting anything get her down. Therefore, it was important that we supported The Little Princess Trust who had provided important support and guidance for Rose and her family.”
