Words of thanks from a wig recipient's mum

Meet 8-year-old Emilia, one of LPT’s newest wig recipients.
Emilia recently started treatment, following a brain tumour diagnosis. After losing her hair, she decided to get in touch with us here at The Little Princess Trust and chose a wig that was close to her natural style.
At LPT, we always aim for our wigs to be the best possible match for a recipient’s natural hair so they can feel like their most confident self.
Every wig is made with real, human hair that has been kindly donated by our wonderful supporters, allowing each one to be cut and styled to an individual’s desired look.
This also means our wigs can be curled and straightened by recipients, or their parents, in the comfort of their own homes.
Jojo, Emilia’s mum, got in touch to personally thank us for providing her daughter with a wig. She said, “The Little Princess Trust’s wig made the process of losing her hair more manageable. Thank you for putting a smile back on my beautiful girl’s face.”

Emilia’s mum also told us, “she loves that she can curl and straighten and wave her wig and wear it the same as she used to wear her own hair”.

This type of feedback is truly invaluable to us all here at LPT and reminds us why what we do is so important to children and young people experiencing hair loss.
Whether you have cut and donated your hair, hosted a Funky Hair Funday, been a corporate supporter, or taken part in a fundraising event, we are so grateful for your generosity and contribution to our mission.
Thanks to you, we can continue putting a smile on children’s faces as they start treatment, just like Emilia. Click here to find out how you can get involved and provide Hair and Hope, or here to request a wig for yourself or a loved one.
