Harringtons Hairdressing recognised for helping LPT

We are so grateful to the many hair professionals across the country who help to collect hair donations that go into making our wigs.

This month, we would like to shine a light on the amazing teams at Harringtons Hairdressing for their fantastic support.

Julie Bentley and her colleagues, through their ‘Harringtons Helps’ campaign, are giving free haircuts, including a wash, blow dry and deep-conditioning treatment, to anyone donating long lengths of hair to LPT!

The campaign received the ‘Hero Award’ at the Hair Hero awards, commonly known as The Cut, last year.

Julie said: "At Haringtons, we believe that hair can make people feel confident, cared for, and even a little pampered—and we love using our skills to give back."

Since the Haringtons Helps scheme began, the company has supported a wide range of charities including The Samaritans, The Rainbow Trust, and Marlow Age Concern.

Last year, they launched their partnership with The Little Princess Trust which saw Harringtons offer free haircuts to those donating their hair.

"It’s our way of thanking them for their generosity while giving them a moment of care and confidence," added Julie.

"We share this initiative across our social media channels and website, encouraging more people to get involved and help make a difference.

"Since joining forces, we’ve carried out a good number of free appointments, and all of our salons proudly support the scheme.

"Every donation, every appointment, and every smile helps us make a real difference in the lives of these young people.

"We love welcoming new clients to take part, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has supported Haringtons Helps—one haircut at a time."
