Our Chesney is England's 'lucky charm'

LPT ambassador praised for performance at World Cup
An LPT ambassador has been labelled a lucky charm for the England football team.
Chesney Hawkes has been a proud supporter of The Little Princess Trust for many years.
And he’s now in the spotlight for his backing of Gareth Southgate’s boys at this year’s World Cup.
Chesney was praised for his rousing half-time pitch-side rendition of ‘The One and Only’ - which some on social media claimed help to inspire England to a thumping 3-0 win over Wales.
The Sun newspaper promptly launched ‘Operation Sun and Only’ to make sure Chesney was back in Qatar for the knock-out game against Senegal.
As soon as he stepped off the stage at Butlins, Chesney was driven to Heathrow and flown out to the Middle East before arriving at last night’s game with his guitar just minutes before kick-off.
And after England swept to another 3-0 win, The Sun and many England fans are hoping our Ches can stay out in Qatar and see the Three Lions face France on Saturday night.
Chesney has been a supporter of The Little Princess Trust for a number of years and has helped to raise the profile of our free wig provision service and our funding of childhood cancer research.
