How to smash your fundraising goals

How to smash your fundraising goals

So you're thinking of fundraising for The Little Princess Trust

Are you having a sponsored haircut, holding a bake sale, or getting your running shoes on and taking part in a race for LPT?

As a charity with no paid fundraisers, our mission to continue to give Hair And Hope to children and young people experiencing hair loss is totally reliant on you - our wonderful supporters. So, whatever your fundraising plans, we have compiled a list of ways to make sure you get the most out of your fundraising and raise every penny you can.

  • Get online:

Online fundraisers are a great way to collect donations from loved ones, friends, and family! Set up your page and get sharing on your social media pages and tag us - and don't be afraid to share it more than once! You can also let your platform know that even if they can't donate, sharing your fundraiser to their platform would be great too!

If you need help setting up a JustGiving page, there is a helpful video on our Fundraising Page that can help walk you through the process. You can watch this video here

Don't be afraid to tell your loved ones all about LPT and our mission to provide real-hair wigs to children and young people, free of charge and continue to fund vital research into better and kinder treatments for childhood cancers.

You can find more information about our journey here, and even more in your FREE Fundraising Pack!

  •  Team together:

Get together with friends or family and take on your fundraising journey as a team! You could even split the target between you and bring the funds together to make one big total.

Remember, it costs on average £700 to provide one wig to a child or young person. This covers the making, fitting, and styling of the wig - so every penny really does count!

  •  Let your local community know about your fundraising plans:

Be sure to let your community know and those around you know all about your fundraising plans. You never know, they may be able to lend a hand and help out, or let you put up a poster to let others know about your fundraising!

You have probably heard all about our Fundraising Packs, but did you know they are full of goodies that will help you to smash your fundraising goals? Filled with balloons, leaflets, posters, and sponsorship forms, our Fundraising Packs are bursting with goodies to help you with your fundraising.
