We can't wait to accept your lockdown locks

We can't wait to accept your lockdown locks

Moves being made to welcome your hair donations from April 12

We know many of our supporters are eagerly looking forward to the day when hairdressers across the country are back in business.

And we want them to know that we will be ready to receive hair donations again – once salon doors are open.

We are busy making sure our workplace is Covid-secure for our logistics team who collect and sort incoming hair donations.

Government advice currently states that April 12 will be the day when salons are back and, providing this is the case, we will be gladly and gratefully accepting hair from that date.

Tracey McGuigan and Spencer Preece will be ready to sort hair donations again from April 12.

So please do spread the word and tell anyone else looking forward to a fresh new look that they can send their long locks our way.

We have a particular need for donations measuring 16 inches and above while our FREE fundraising packs can help supporters raise the money to pay for their hair to be turned into a wig.
