Meet our Corporate Relationships Manager

Meet our Corporate Relationships Manager

If you've ever wondered how we maintain relationships with our salons and supportive businesses, we would like to introduce you to our secret weapon Kim Musson.

How did you come to work at LPT and how long have you been here?

I worked with Wendy just after she lost Hannah and remember her starting LPT, whilst working part time at the Hereford Times.

I've always loved this Charity and when this job became available, I called in for a chat. The rest is history! I've been here for just over a year, it feels like my family now and I'm loving being part of this positive force in the world.

What salons/businesses do you communicate with (and which is your favourite)?

I speak with many salons and businesses in my role, from Headmasters salons who support us with free hair cuts over 12", to Sallys Salon Services who are amazing supporters in selling products and fundraising for us. Also some big name brands....watch this space! Any business which supports us by either fundraising or helping us reach new audiences are my favourite!

What is your favourite / most rewarding part of the job?

The most amazing thing about being here is the fantastic support I get from everyone I connect with. Whether that's someone at the door dropping off hair donations or businesses raising money/profile.

Everyone just wants to know how they can help us provide more wigs and money for research. It really makes you see the good in everyone.

Ultimately we are about providing wigs to young people and improving outcomes. Every time I hear of the impact of a real hair wig on a child or young persons life, or steps forward in Cancer treatments, it motivates me.
