Inspirational Sophie's stunning support for LPT

Thousands of pounds already raised to help children with hair loss
An inspirational young woman has raised thousands of pounds for The Little Princess Trust while undergoing cancer treatment.
Sophie Brame, pictured above, was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a blood cancer which affects fewer than 200 people a year in the UK.
The 21-year-old last week began intensive chemotherapy and was told that losing her hair was inevitable.
I want to use this moment to bring a little light.
At first, she felt that she was “too young for this to be happening” before she then thought of other children facing ‘similar battles’.
“As I come to terms with my own journey, I want to use this moment to bring a little light,” Sophie added.
“I’ve decided to donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust, where it can be transformed into a real hair wig—given free of charge to a child who’s going through the hardest time in their life.”
Sophie originally set out to raise £700 as that is what it costs The Little Princess Trust to provide one wig to a child or young person with hair loss.
But her fundraising has already passed £4,000 with many people inspired by Sophie’s incredible attitude and selfless character.
“Any donation, big or small, would mean the world—not just to me, but to the child whose life it could brighten,” she added. “Thank you so much for your support.”
