The Little Princess Trust Chief Executive steps down
Chief Executive Phil Brace, who took up the role in 2018, will be stepping down in the middle of June to spend time with his family and explore other opportunities in due course.
As the Little Princess Trust’s first CEO, Phil’s used his experience to ensure that the charity was in a strong position in terms of both structure and governance. Key developments during his time in the role have included:
· sustained improvement of the provision of wigs, from the management of hair donations and the manufacturing of wigs through to relationships with salons and the whole experience for wig recipients;
· helping to establish the charity as a respected member of the paediatric cancer research community, developing strong relationships with other cancer charities;
· completion of The Hannah Tarplee Building, providing a permanent Hereford home for the charity;
During Phil’s tenure, the charity has enjoyed strong growth and has been able to increase its funding of cancer research as a result.
The trustees are grateful to Phil for his passion, energy and commitment to The Little Princess Trust over the past 10 years, first as a trustee and then as CEO, and wish him all the best for the future.
