Strictly Come Dancing judge links up with our dancing ambassador

Strictly Come Dancing judge Dame Darcey Bussell is teaming up with our brilliant ambassador Tara-Brigitte Bhavnani to raise money for The Little Princess Trust!

The pair will lead an online ballet class and a Q&A via Instagram from 5.30pm on October 15.

All are welcome to join on an evening when donations can be made to support our work.

 

Tara and her two daughters Chloé and Sophia will soon be cutting and donating their long locks to help us provide real-hair wigs to children and young people.

The dance class forms part of the family’s fundraising, which also features a raffle and prizes including a signed Darcey Bussell book, a £50 Freed gift voucher and a private ballet class with Tara.

Tara, who was a member of The Royal Ballet for more than 20 years before becoming a Guest Artist in 2023, has been a fabulous supporter of LPT in her role as one of our ambassadors.

She has already donated her hair on three previous occasions, and this will be Chloé’s third cut to help others and her sister’s first.

Tara said: “I’m so excited to bring this all together – dance, hair, fundraising and a very special guest, all for a wonderful cause.”
