Supporter receives a personal message from TV presenter

 After learning all about how cancer can cause hair loss for children and young people, and learning about LPT and what we do, Bethany decided straight away she wanted to cut her hair to send to us.

When asked if she was nervous to cut her hair so short, she replied, "even if I don't like it, I can always grow it back".

This SuperHairo ordered her free Fundraising Pack and was also keen to raise £550 to cover the cost of providing a wig for a child or young person we support.

Determined to let others know about her mission to do something amazing, Bethany got into contact with her 'idol and favourite celebrity' Holly Willoughby to tell her all about her fantastic fundraising and plans to donate her hair.

She received a personalised message from Holly saying,

To Bethany, I've just heard what you are doing for The Little Princess Trust... What a superstar you are! Good luck, I'll be thinking of you... Huge love, Holly x

Despite originally planning to donate 10 inches of hair, Bethany ended up donating a brilliant 13 inches of hair - a great help towards our provision of shoulder length wigs!

Additionally, in an effort to make sure everyone had fun whilst they smashed the £550 fundraising total, this superstar also organised a Glow Disco event to host her hair donation, complete with glow sticks, games, and glitter bombs!

They managed to raise more than £770 to go towards our wig provision service. How amazing is that?
