COVID-19 and The Little Princess Trust

A message from our Chief Executive

During these exceptional times, The Little Princess Trust is adapting daily to the COVID-19 situation with great diligence to ensure we can continue to provide our important service in an environment that is safe to all involved.

The Little Princess Trust has always been committed to the health and well-being of its wig recipients, staff, supporters and salon partners. And the health of every one of you and your families remains a top priority.

That is why we have been making decisions based on Government guidelines and advice from the World Health Organisation and NHS England.

Some members of staff are now working from home while deliveries into and out of our office in Hereford are being held in quarantine as we put extra layers of protection in place to ensure the safe transit of wigs.

These necessary changes are causing a slight delay in getting certificates out to our amazing supporters, so we are politely asking our hair donors and fundraisers for a little extra patience while they wait to receive much-deserved official recognition from ourselves.

It is an extremely challenging time for everyone, but The Little Princess Trust remains open and we are fully committed to provide real hair wigs to young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions.

We can only do this – and fund vital research into childhood cancers – thanks to the amazing help we receive from our wonderful family of supporters so may I take this opportunity to say just how grateful I am that so many people continue to think of our charity during this incredibly challenging situation.

So many people are being affected by the prevalence of COVID-19 and our heartfelt thoughts are with everybody at this unprecedented time.
