Wig was a 'safety net' that took away pressure
'I wanted to be a student, not 'the student with cancer'
Request a wig
It's a very simple process to request your free, real hair wig.
We're here to help all those aged up to 24 who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.
We rely solely on the generosity of our wonderful supporters to give Hair and Hope to thousands of children and young people.
Any contribution you make allows us to provide wigs to those who need them and fund kinder, more effective treatments for childhood cancers. Thank you.
We are one of the largest charity funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. Since 2016, we have given funding to more than 100 clinical trials and projects looking to find kinder and more effective treatments for all childhood cancers.
We use lovely long hair donations from our supporters to make our beautiful wigs. Here you can learn about the lengths of hair we need - and the best ways to cut and send your lovely locks to us!
We provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.
Since 2016, we have given funding to 128 research projects focussed on finding kinder and more effective treatments for all childhood cancers.
We were thrilled to receive the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
