Salon Services’ staff raise £58,000 for The Little Princess Trust

Salon Services has had a busy six months this year raising over £58,000 for the charity, more than double their original target!

Fundraising events included cake sales, car washes and raffles, with one member of staff even cutting off her 14-inch ponytail in aid of the Trust. And it wasn’t just in-store – Carlos Viduarri, Salon Services District Manager, took to two wheels cycling to all eleven stores within his region in three days, covering 321 miles, burning 17,000 calories, and raising a whopping £1,500.

In addition to fundraising events, Salon Services now sells specially designed “bags for life” with a donation from every bag sold going to The Little Princess Trust.

Richard Hull, Group Vice President & Managing Director for SBH UK & Ireland, said, “Thanks to the hard work of our staff we have managed to raise a fantastic amount of money, and have had fun whilst doing it! The Little Princess Trust is a charity that is close to our hearts, so we’re delighted that our efforts will be able to help support this worthy cause.”

Commenting on Salon Services’ continued support, Monica Glass, Charity Manager at The Little Princess Trust, said, “Everyone at The Little Princes Trust is truly grateful to all the staff at SBH UK & Ireland for their hard work in raising such a large amount of money in such a short space of time. This money will help our charity to have a significant, positive impact on children’s lives at what is a very stressful time.”
