Friday Round-up!

We are SO excited to announce the finalists for our Real Life Rapunzel competition.

Huge congratulations go to Susan, Joy, Sara, Roisin and Fern!! Our five  finalists will be treated to a wonderful VIP trip to Shrek’s Adventure! London, where they will be treated to a scrumptious breakfast courtesy of our friends at Starbucks,  followed by a VIP tour of the attraction.  They will then have their hair cut to donate it to the charity. The overall winner will be decided after the donated hair braids have been measured. The longest donation will be the winner on the day, announced by former donor, Mario Falcone!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who took part in our search for a Real Life Rapunzel – we have been so bowled over by the response to the competition that we wanted to thank you all for taking the time to enter. The lovely team at Shrek’s Adventure! has created the most wonderful event which is open to everyone on the afternoon of the 29th April – an opportunity to take part in a mass hair donation event at the attraction!

Donors should register for a time slot at, (tickets will be available from Monday 10th April) when they can donate their hair and then enjoy a complimentary haircut and styling courtesy of students and staff from South Thames College Hair Salon, a glitter makeover and plenty of fun activities, too. Each donor can bring one non-donating guest – although the more donors the better!

Charity Manager, Monica Glass, said “We are absolutely thrilled that Shrek’s Adventure! London has offered to host this wonderful event on behalf of the Little Princess Trust. We are really looking forward to meeting so many of our amazing donors and we feel this is a great opportunity to offer everyone who supports our charity that day a fun-filled afternoon!’

Steve Blackburn, General Manager of Shrek’s Adventure! added, “Shrek’s Adventure! London is home to lots of princesses and we are really proud to be working with the Little Princess Trust, spreading awareness of the incredible work they do and encouraging those with long hair to donate it for the benefit of children suffering from hair loss.”

We have also been super busy this week, sending out our Tea & Tiaras Tea Party packs! They are literally flying out the door! You can order yours here.

This week, Suzie Clair Aries, a successful young actress facing chemotherapy,  filmed herself bravely chopping off her hair to raise money for the Little Princess Trust.

Suzie, who played the role of Margot in Legally Blonde the Musical last year, was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer in January and is preparing to undergo a gruelling 12-week treatment. She has currently raised a staggering £7,000.00 via her Just Giving page. Susie would absolutely love to hit her £10k target – please help her if you can!

Read the full article and watch Suzie as she chops off her locks here. We would like to thank Suzie so much for her support and wish her the very best with her treatment.

And finally – did anyone catch our biggest fan, Harry Styles, chatting about his hair donation on Radio 1 today?!

☀️☀️☀️Wishing you all a wonderful, sunny weekend! ☀️☀️☀️
