Whoah. It’s been a bonkers busy week!!
There was only one way for Monica and Wendy to go on Tuesday, and that was ESSEX!! More specifically, they were destined for Hudson’s Barbers in Ware to meet itv’s The Only Way Is Essex star Mario Falcone.
Kind-hearted Mario decided to grow his hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust. His new long locks were the cause of much speculation amongst viewers of the itv series and the comments that he has received on social media since the chop have been hugely supportive and positive.
We would like to thank Mario for being such a brilliant sport and a huge thanks also to Dan, star barber!
We will see Mario again on the 29th April where he will meet the winner and finalists of our Real Life Rapunzel competition. Still haven’t entered yet? Head over to www.littleprincesses.org.uk/competitions now!
Today we had the pleasure of delivering one of our collection boxes to Allpay who have very kindly offered to host the box on their Hereford premises, encouraging employees to ‘post-a-pound’ to the Little Princess Trust. The idea is to collect the old £1 coins before they are replaced by the brand-spangly-new 12 sided beauties. The box gladly accepts all coins – not just £1’s (and notes, too!).
We would also like to wish Maria Miles of the Wye Valley Runners masses of good luck for the 9th of April when she will participate in the Paris marathon! Maria will run through 42km of glorious Parisian streets all in aid of the Little Princess Trust. You can show Maria your support by visiting her Just Giving page. We caught up with Maria on a training run with the Wye Valley Runners to find out how she was shaping up in the run up to the big event.
We’ll be posting more exciting news from the Wye Valley Runners next week – keep an eye on our Facebook page…
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
